Suddenly, a shadow kicks Honest from behind with brutal force, sending him rolling, enough to crack his spine. He sees an empowered Leone who fused with the remains of her destoryed Teigu. A panicking Honest attempted to shoot Leone multiple times, but Leone quickly grabs the bullets and sprinkle them on the ground like confetti. She walks over to Honest and delivers a punch to Honest, saying that he's the last bit of sludge to clean out the drain and exposes his intestines. Realizing how Honest trained his body to live a long life, she plans to give him the worst to death possible. Honest begs for mercy, but Leone throws him out the balcony and he crashes onto the ground; right where the rebels are. Before they could kill him themselves, a member of the Revolutionary Army says that he has a huge bounty on his head and everyone wants to get even with him. So instead, the rebels took turns in torturing Minister Honest to death, such as slicing his ears and nose off, giving Minister Honest his well-deserved agony. His screams of pain and horror last until he finally dies. Akame finds Leone out of the palace, seeing how she's very hurt, she plans to go get help, but Leone tells her it's fine. Akame notices how Leone's skin is ice-cold. Despite her pleas, Leone tells Akame to let her die how she wants to die. Akame says a goodbye to Leone. Leone goes drinking to celebrate the Empire's fall and dies with a smile on her face on the street where she first met Tatsumi.

Later on, Najenda sentences the Emperor to death. Seeing that if the Emperor cries out in horror, he'll be a laughing stock. So he instead plans to die with pride. Unlike Minister Honest, the Emperor stayed composed at his execution.

Suzuka survives the war and runs away from the continent with Esdeath's hand. Thanks to some alchemy, the hand never decomposed. So Suzuka was satisfied with that.

Tatsumi returns to Mine; who has woken up from her coma. He pledges to stay with Mine until the very end; much to Mine's happiness. It's revealed that Mine was also pregnant with their child. Akame says that one time Mine was trying her best to make Tatsumi forget about Esdeath. So the two retired to live together side by side with Mine giving birth to their child.

In Tatsumi's village, the citizens recieved much more money then they ever had. They plan to give Sayo, Iyesau and Tatsumi a welcoming party. But with Tatsumi in Tyrant's body, they had to give Sayo and Iyesau a memorial service. They never fell into poverty again.

Wave is revealed to suffer from a bit of sickness with one of his organs failed permanently due to him engaging in forbidden application of two Teigu at the same time. Wave also revealed that Kurome's having nightmares of the people she killed. Najenda tells Wave that it's thanks to him that Kurome's still alive and promises him to be a source of strength for her. While Akame and Kurome are sleeping together, Kurome tells Akame of her hallucinating about the people she slaughtered. Akame tells her that it's thanks to her that she sent Wave to the capital to help Tatsumi and how most people were protected from the Supreme Teigu. Kurome was happy that she gets to be with Akame at a daily basis.

Akame tells Najenda that even though her body is in pain from Murasame's Trump Card, she learned to get used to it. She plans to continue being an asassin to she can protect everyone's new lives. Najenda continued to fight by Akame's side to protect the new nation. She never married, but she adopted a child. With the new nation born, many skilled individuals who were traumatized by the Empire's corruption, left the Emperor's side to join the Revolutionary Army, They served the brand new Empire and supported the new nation without dirtying their hands with countless crimes. Even civil servants devoted them to the cause. The rebellion of the way peace against the country had settled down thanks to the old Empire's demise. A number of strict harsh and rules were abolished so people could enjoy their work without seeing their jobs as life-threatening burdens. Esdeath's ice storm was written as a natural freak cold spell, and disappeared instantly, leaving little to no damage to crops. Akame worked on assassinating greedy leading figures in the government who took advantage of the new nation. Their deaths were written off to make it look like they'd succumbed to disease in their sleep or an accident while hunting. The northern tribes had been destroyed before the old Empire's fall. Diplomatic relations were established bewteen them and the west as they formed alliances. Freeing those with half-foreign blood from discrimination; as Mine has wished for. Having felt the wrath of Esdeath's army, the people in the west didn't have any alternative. For Esdeath's army. they're exhausted with overwhelming numbers of the regional tribes. They disbanded after her death, and half of them transfered to the border guard. Besides Minister Honest, other traitorous official like Koukei were flushed out keeping any other seeds of disaster from sprouting. In the last days of the Emperor and Honest's reign, Night Raid was said to be a criminal organization that terrorized that capital. But there's no trace of them in history books. Night Raid disbanded following the old Empire's fall.

Seeing that new nation was doing very well, Akame sets out on the vast ocean for the undeveloped island nation to the east. That was written in the encyclopedia rongo-rongo. That nation was where Murasame was originated. Akame plans to head out to that nation, with a quest to find a cure for the pain in her body. And to bring back Tatsumi was a human being instead of living in Tyrant's body. She recalls the joyful time she spent with her comrades. So that she survived; she made a promise to keep on living. She may seem like killing is the only thing she can do, but it does open up new path for her. Leading to the events of Hinowa ga Yuku!.
